Who I am

I am a self-taught artist and visual storyteller, originally from Sylhet, Bangladesh and now based in the UK. With a background in painting, poetry, and design, my work blends abstract minimalism with vivid color, movement, and emotional depth.

Influenced by my cultural roots and creative curiosity, I work across mediums to express the spiritual, the poetic, and the unseen. My art has been exhibited across cultural platforms and collected by audiences worldwide.

My aim is to continue developing and sharing my work here in the UK through this website, which serves as a platform to showcase original art that reflects my personal journey and worldview. I take inspiration from the everyday miracle of life — nature, faith, human emotion — and I use these themes to shape work that is both culturally rooted and relevant to the present day.
My artistic style has evolved from a blend of academic study, personal exploration, and hands-on experience. This has allowed me to create work that feels both traditional in foundation and contemporary in execution. For me, art is a way of responding to a world that often feels disconnected — it's my way of offering new ways of seeing and understanding.
I’m also an active contributor to community and cultural events. I regularly take part in programmes that support creativity and engagement through the arts. In 2010, I was invited by the Association of Art & Culture, Italia in Arte, to participate in their international art competition. I submitted several pieces and was honoured to receive awards in two categories. A number of my works were later published in their cultural journal.
I am a self-taught artist, with a lifelong dedication to creativity and artistic contribution.
